Curriculum

Small class sizes and individualized support are at the core of our academic model. Teachers strive to differentiate instructional strategies to meet each student's unique needs. Stansbury Academy incorporates the use of technology to provide the best resources available for our students. Upon enrollment, students are assigned classes which align with the Utah State Office of Education curriculum objectives and standards. When necessary, students have the opportunity to enroll in courses that may not have been completed prior to their transition to Stansbury Academy. Many students who have met Utah graduation requirements may enroll in online college courses.

In addition to the traditional array of classes in the core disciplines and electives, we offer a variety of honors and AP courses. We also seek to augment our curriculum with additional online class offerings.

Students with learning disabilities or other academic challenges are supported individually to accommodate their specific educational needs. Stansbury Academy is prepared to implement accommodations in the classroom or modifications to the curriculum as dictated through existing documentation, IEPs, 504 plans or other special education services.
